The Close Encounters Tour is Robbie Williams' 2006 worldwide concert tour. It kicked off in Durban's ABSA Stadium on 10 April, and ended in Melbourne on 18 December. The tour has been a great success financially, with every date selling out the morning the tickets go on sale. Robbie broke the World Record for selling 1.6 million tickets in a single day of going on sale in November 2005.
